Hm, well it would appear that this is my 200th post. So for something a little different, here’s not a track from someone else, but a recording of the set I played almost exactly 3 years ago at the release party we had for my buddy Josh’s Magneticring LP I put out. This is the whole set… unedited, so it’s a bit rough sounding but whatever. Enjoy.

Eddie Callahan - Santa Cruz Mountains False Ego (1976)
Hoping my stock of this loner power pop reissue come in this week. A really cool record with sunny west coast vibes. Oddly two original copies of this turned up in town last year…

Chrome - Raider The Visitation (1977)
Great track from my favorite Chrome record. This album is totally different sounding than all their other records, likely due in part to the fact that this is before Helios Creed was in the band. It’s got more of a weird glam-psych sound with only a tinge of the art-punk that developed and is the sound the band is more known for.

Picchio dal Pozzo - Seppia s/t (1976)
Killer and bizarre Italian prog record. Bizarre in that it’s a Canterbury influenced prog record out of Italy. Heavy Soft Machine/Robert Wyatt vibes… which does make sense since the album is dedicated to Wyatt.
